Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital (ADFH) participated for the first time in the 2013 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as part of the stand of the Government of Abu Dhabi at the Heritage Village of the General Secretariat of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. The event was held for 3 days from 1st to 3rd November 2013.
ADFH had prepared 3 areas in its stand, the 1st area was for falcons and falconers and for the visitors to had the opportunity to carry falcons and take picture with them which was printed directly as memorabilia. The 2nd area was the kids’ corner where the kids had showcase their talents in falcon coloring and the 3rd area was for the promotion of its award winning tourism program.
The main highlight at the ADFH stand was the 2 falcons for picture taking. While the visitors were waiting for their photos printed, they were given the chance to vote for ADFH being a finalist for the World Responsible Tourism Award by the World Travel Award, being the “Oscars” of the tourism industry. Another highlights of the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital stand was its falcon mascot "Shaheen" who was taking pictures with the visitors.
A large number of visitors visited the ADFH stand making it one much sought after place at F1.
